Travis Stone Joins AGC Safety Team

Travis Stone, Safety Management ConsultantAGC is pleased to welcome Travis Stone, our newest safety management consultant

Travis recently joined the Oregon-Columbia Chapter as the newest member of the Safety Management Team. He will be assisting members in Portland, western Washington County, Bend/Central Oregon, and Southwest Washington.

Travis comes to us with a wealth of safety experience from construction and general industry. He began his safety career by attending Clackamas Community College, earning his Associate of Applied Science degree in Construction Project Management. He took a position with Elder Demolition in 1999, and by 2004 he was their safety coordinator, working on residential, commercial, and industrial demolition projects in four western states.

After 12 years with Elder Demolition, Travis moved on to the manufacturing industry at Blount International where he worked for over two years as safety coordinator. He oversaw two plants in the Portland area, working with over 1,200 colleagues. At Blount he had many successful projects, in addition to conducting ongoing safety training. He is an active member of the American Society of Safety Engineers.

Travis enjoys being outdoors with his family, his wife, Angie, and two daughters, Breauna and Audrey. He enjoys camping, hiking, biking, and enjoying what the Northwest has to offer. He also enjoys playing basketball and coaching his two daughters’ basketball team. A car buff, in his spare time he’s working on restoring his 1968 Mustang.
