Construction management or engineering seniors eligible to submit Allhands essay by November 16, 2015.
The competition is still open to any senior-level student in a four or five-year ABET or ACCE accredited university construction management or construction-related engineering program. The first place essay author receives $1,000. His/her faculty sponsor receives $500. Both the recipient and sponsor are invited as guests of the AGC of America Foundation to attend the AGCA Annual Convention in March. The winner is notified in February and the award is presented at the AGCA Annual Convention. This year’s topic is Strategies for Reducing the Environmental Impacts of Construction. The deadline to apply is November 16, 2015.
