  • Employer safety program
  • Association
  • Safety committee
  • Safety and health advocate (individual or team)
  • Safety and health professional (industry specific)

Applications are available at www.oregongosh.com/awards and are due Oct. 1, 2014.

After winning an award in 2013, Bremik Construction in Portland found its employees were proud to work for a company that put their safety first.

“The GOSH award has motivated our employees by showing how their individual commitment to safety on the job can make a difference,” said Bremik Vice President Mike Greenslade. “We’ve seen an increase in morale that has served as motivation for continuous improvement on all of our jobsites.”

The Oregon Occupational Safety and Health Division (Oregon OSHA), a division of the Department of Consumer and Business Services, is partnering with the Columbia-Willamette Chapter of the American Society of Safety Engineers to sponsor the conference.
