Great Keynote Speakers
Roger Rickard will empower you to get involved and make a difference. During this economic downturn, extreme unemployment, and a volatile governmental climate, we recognize the importance of educated communication, active participation, and collaborative partnerships. With these tools we can avoid a paralyzing environment where industries are faced with regulatory or legislative threats that undermine stability. How do we adapt to compete? How do we adapt to survive? How do we communicate our message effectively? With the art of advocacy using the 7 Actions of Highly Effective Advocates—and a united voice—AGC members can and do make a difference!
Paul Diederich, AGC of America president, and Steve Sandherr, AGC of America chief executive officer, will update us on the national current of construction and the strong impact AGC of America is making in Washington D.C.
David Rabiner, CSP will share what leaders need to know now. Things change and industries evolve, and so does leadership. What your business and your employees need from you is significantly different than it used to be. It is important to understand that many changes are not temporary; they are resulting in a new way of doing business that is, for all practical purposes, permanent. In this keynote address, David Rabiner lays out the important leadership qualities that peak-performing construction executives and managers need to have to continue to be successful over the long term.
This convention is for the entire family!
Bring your spouse and children with you.
On Friday, August 9 there will be a special Spouses Brunch featuring author, consultant, and speaker Peggy Collins. Peggy will shed a little light on a dirty little secret…HELP is not a four-letter word.
