On December 14, AGC blogged the announcement of the eight winners of the 2015 ROSE Award, which recognizes chapter leaders in safety excellence and their dedication to safety. These eight companies have worked very hard, and through continuous improvement of their safety program they have received well-deserved recognition from peers in the industry. All eight winners this year were recommended to move forward to the AGC of America’s CSEA competition.
In this third of three blogs, AGC asks the question “What does winning a ROSE award mean to you company? (Click here for part 1 and click here for part 2)
“I look at the ROSE Award as being a confirmation to our team members that we have a good safety culture. I want them to know that this is all about them and their safety. That we want other organizations to audit us, to let us know if they see deficiencies so we can improve what we do have.” Steve Spurlock, LSP CRIS, General Sheet Metal
“Winning the Rose award is exciting, and we are honored…but what’s even better is knowing that our teams commitment, innovation, and consistent approach to our safety program and best practices have proven to be effective and successful. We look forward to new safety challenges within the construction industry to help drive innovation and improve our company’s safety culture for years to come.” Jake Bishop, MB Structures
